The meeting room was a large room with the prominent feature being a large white wall and a huge oval shaped table with around 14 chairs. All were black with little details except for a silver design on their backs, curling up and around into a sly S. The chairs all conviniently pointed to the smaller end of the oval and the wall behind where a large white screen was revealed at the press of a button. When the button was pressed again, the large wooden walls would rise up and cover the white screen, leaving almost no gaps and no trace that it ever was hidden, apart from the remote which lay on the oval table.
Muraki clapped his hands and walked into the room confidently, taking a chair at the smaller end, farthest from the large screen. He snatched the remote greedily and began to press buttons, making the huge walls move apart and reveal the white screen and it burst into life, split into around 16 mini-screens, each a considerable size and watching every local news channel, and few national. Muraki watched all simultaneously although the main screen in the middle was large and switched on cue, the speakers only listening to that screen.
...murders of prositutes from an unknown and untraceable brothel, constantly raped, abused and killed. The only clue the police have that can lead to the murder weapon is two puncture marks which vary in diameter although always the same width apart. Also, the blood type of the Victims is always the same type. Other than this, and their occupation, there are almost no links between the victims and the killers. People are beginning to call this a mystery murder case, and the internet has sparked the rumour that the Vampire of Souzetsu is rising again...
"It looks like Vi's been pretty active, I'm surprised he isn't covering his trail so much. Perhaps he slipped in his efforts to heal again." Muraki sighed, switching the screen to a large channel which flickered black, waiting for something to be plugged in. "Have you got the equipment? It's already syncronised, just plug in those and twiddle that knob." He directed Abel and Hughe, who were already in the room, lugging the equipment in.

Poking his head into the room he saw the image of Muraki move into a far chair at the end of the oval shaped table. Looking around at Abel and Hughe who were draggin equitment around the room he moved in slightly and stood by the wall out of the way, coving his ears as the news channel came on and began to talk about muders that were happening. When it had finished Reiko removed his hands from his ears, his eyes then moved over the table and began to look at the number of chairs seated around it, moving closer to one of the chairs he bent down to inspect it. Running a finger along the design he stood up and smiled gently, 'Is there anything I can do to help?'

Sabaku took hold of some of the luggage being dragged in and assisted Abel and Hugue as they lugged the cases inside the great meeting room. It was very impressive, to Sabaku and she nodded, amazed, to Muraki, who was holding a remote and revealed a bunch of television sets on the wall. She gazed, blinking many times as the news came up, announcing murders. "Are you sure he's the only vampire in this city?" she muttered, not expecting Muraki to hear her, but she wandered over to the great oval shaped table and placed her hand on one of the chairs next to Reiko's and made it her own.

Hikaru rested her cup of tea gently on the table and then followed the others towards the room. She watched the news and didnt say anything to the comment Muraki made. She knew about the vampire of Souzetsu, and Muraki obviously knew this guy so didnt comment. She didnt offer to help as she didnt know much about electronics so she just kept silent and took a seat waiting for this meeting to start.

"Yes...He's the only one we know of and has made himself public. He's not usually easy to follow, he usually covers his tracks. I wonder what has made him slip...Perhaps a new distraction..." He pondered aloud, reeling back the memory of his meeting with Mira. He hoped she would still contact him as there were many tests he still would like to conduct on her blood. He also hoped that Vi's sight would not dwindle too fast, he had alot of the world to see and learn after all. Jerked back to reality by the new channel playing their theme tune, he sat up a little straighter and look towards Abel, who seemed to have finished. "Are you ready?" He asked, just as Toby had stalked in quietly and taken a seat beside Reiko.

Reiko watched as the people around him began to take their seats around him. Moving round the chair he was stood at he sat down and rested his hands in his lap. The blue haired boy looked about at the many faces sitting around the oval table, smiling to everyone he then looked at the TV as the channel changed. As it started to play some music, liking the song the boy began to bounce his head to the beat until he heard Muraki speak and Toby sit down next to him.

Just as Abel was about to start, Muraki had to excuse himself as a ring sounded in his pocket. He pressed the accept and said hello before slipping outside the meeting room, and walking to the outside of the house and taking his private call, knowing it was Mira.

Sabaku nodded to Muraki. But then he took a phone call and she relaxed her shoulders, turning to Reiko for conversation. "Reiko, what do you think of this place, then? Is it nice?" she said, referring to the inn as well as the meeting room. "I still need to choose a room that had a bath nearby."

The blue haired boy watched as Muraki pulled a small device from his pocket and started speaking to it, tilting his head to the side, the male walked out. Looking at the table, trying to make patterns from the surface. Looking up as he heard a voice from his side he turned to the female he had met earlier today and smiled gently at her. 'Hmm, yes, this place is alot better than the Bell Tower, though, the view was alot better. I loved to wake up to the morning sun and the flying birds.' Sitting back and turning his body to the woman so their convosation was comfortable. 'Oh a shower would be nice, I haven't had a bath for ages, had to make do with rivers and sneaking into peoples houses.' Blushing madly Reiko looked to the floor.

Abel and Hugh made light work of setting up the equipment, however the technical side was lost on the priest. Abel only did what he was told by Muraki or Esther and hoped for the best. After all, his job was to search and destroy, it was the much smaller young Esther that was in charge of the technology and communication. Abel was about to speak when Muraki excused himself, brushing of the loss of moral suport as best the could able tried to start again. “well…I don’t actually know what to say firstly, since this is the first meeting….er…” he sighed rubbing his head with his hand. At his side ester was pulling on a pair of odd cloves with metal disks in the finger tips. “able I’ll do this if you want” she smiled fondly,. Practically shoving the male into a chair weather he liked it or not. Smiling she reached into the centre of the table, touching a small gold sphere in it that able had placed and wired up. Her fingertip brushed the metal and it sparked into life , the ball hovered and started to slowly spin, electricity hummed and sparked as the ball started the glow, slowly an image of the world spinning emerged, projected around the glowing metal sphere. “Well, I guess I should start with who we are. We’re all members of the roman catholic church, clearly, which is here” she smiled, pacing her hand on the sphere and pulling it around gently, finding Rome at tapping the image, behind her the TV light up displaying information about Rome. The same image was projected from the ball, a layer higher than the earth and with a few subtle finger movements Esther was able to make the map of the world zoom in on the Vatican. She giggled a little “I guess you knew that but I just love playing with this thing!” she laughed, coughing and going back to what she was saying “anyway, we work for AX who specialise in dealing with gifted matters, now Souzetsu has become the hub for the paranormal gifteds that are getting more common so we where sent here five years ago to monitor the situation” she said, the screen changed to images and text about souzetsu, pictures of the Shining popped up and disappeared as ether sifted through the information with her hands. “not long ago the was a large battle between the ones” she said dragging up pictures of the culprits and their biographies, “and the other gifted” she added, drawing up a list of names “but that was solved by a close friend of ours the good doctor and his companion, Dr moon “ she added, gesturing to Christopher who had taken seat in the corner away from the others to prevent any accidental frost bite. “it seemed calm, but since then its gotten worse” she added sadly, flicking through news clippings that flashed up on the screen about the anti-human gifted activities. “this is where you come in” she finished. The screen behind her filled with images of destruction and death “any questions so far?”

Hikaru flicked her eyes towards Muraki as he left to take a phone call then waited while then hooked up all the technology. She listened to most of the past of Souzetsu as she has only been here for three odd years now and so didnt know much about Souzetsu at all. She was really intrested in the ball then shook her head and started looking at the stuff she was bringing up on a huge screen. I dont have to turn catholic do I to be in this organisation? She thought as she didnt really beileve in any Religion at all but decided not to ask as it might offend them. She started to look at a few new clipping on the screen and recognised a few as Naruko's obvious handywork, when his just stopped two years ago, exactly when she had come to Souzetsu. Others were obviously members of their enemy group, ones that looked like Vampire attacks who is still at large because of the other new clip they saw moments ago. She cringed at some of the destructive death pictures and shook her head saying she didnt have any questions.

Toby scanned the list of names spotting a few he had heard mentioned in some conversations around the place between Abel and Muraki, hushed tones in the mornings. He also shook his head for any question and reached to touch the ball, curious about it and if it were real or not. He drew his hand awak suddenly when the door clicked and swung open. Muraki entered looking around and at the ball. "Ah good, I didn't really miss much." He said and settled himself down. When Toby gave him a curious look he smiled and explained of his absence. "Oh, work stuff. Boring really." He said and laughed. He then nodded at Esther and Abel to signal that they would continue without further interuption.

Esther sighed and looked at the children around her. It hurt her to admit it but that was all they where. Children. She gently slapped at Toby’s hand, “this is expensive mo touchy!” she scolded. Abel smiled at her and gently laughed. Hugh did nothing. Ethers face went serious again as she spoke her next words heavily. “ as you can see the problems growing and so will the casualties. The people of this word who anrent gifted need protecting from those who are and the only people who can do this, is you, the gifted” she paused momentarily. “we need your help, normally we wouldn’t seek the help of gifted your ages… but we have no other choice, war is coming” she finished, looking at each one of the gifted in turn, wondering if they ever stood a chance against the other gifteded at all, even with these new recruits.

Toby lowered his eyes to avoid her stern gaze. The word war seemed like such a statement, but it was true. Despite their lack of numbers of gifted, soon it would become a three way war, humans, gifteds and more gifteds. The humans may split, some liking the ideals of the Gifteds ruling them, some simply from fear and the others would resist, convinced that logic and numbers can defeat the supernatural beings. Toby shuddered to think of the violence that was coming and had already been. It was terrifying to think that he would soon be fighting people more powerful than him, with only his power of flight, invisibility and his slight mindreading he was basically defenceless. His mind wandered into the others and found they were all thinking the same things, dread weighing heavily on their mind and shoulders.
Muraki's eye swivelled around the table and then up to watch the birds fly past slowly. He wondered whether this loyalty to his friends in the Saviours was enought o keep him among them. His alliegence was at stake with his life. The Saviours had some chance of winning the War but it was slim at this moment, they needed to increase numbers, increase their power. The Lights Nemesis however were much more unorganised, but numbers were on their side, and with it, was power.
Toby frowned at the table as he listned to Muraki's thoughts. Was he doubting their sucess? Threatening to leave? He raised his gaze from the table and stared at Muraki, who stared straight back. With eye contact, he heard everything clearly. He knew they had no chance, he was going to switch sides. Perhaps that was what the phone call was about.
Muraki knew from Toby's face that he had heard, panic rushed through him. Would the boy stay quiet? Muraki had no way of assuring that the silence would be held. He hadn't made up his mind yet, but his thoughts couldn't lie. Tension flooded across the table between the two of them but Toby remained quiet and Muraki's heart pace lessened and he began to breathe easier.

Hikaru nodded getting the same feeling of utter dread as well. She also was quite aware of the looks that they were all getting and looked around knowing that each newbie here didnt look over the age of twenty and well she was almost two years off that. She moved her chair back more so she was sitting behind the rest and streched her wings out as they were getting sore from being folded against her back. She also wondered if they stood a chance against the enemy and looking around she could see that most likely they would get their asses kicked, to hell and back again. Then she thought what was the point in being scared, it happened everyday that someone died naturally or unaturally it happens. So mentally pushed away her emotions of inner terror and tried to project the unafraid feelings.
