Father Hugh listened to the boy speak, relaying what the bots have said and simply closed his eyes, turning away from the group and going into a clear space in the living room. Standing with his legs just apart, his eyes closed, breathing in a steady pace he started a ritual of tai-chi styled exercises, a clear sign that he thought the boy and the bots where talking nonsense, those who knew Hugh would understand that the notion of someone simply walking past him in the dead of night was a silly one. Both Abel and Ester had suffered Serious Injury because of his reflexes, Abel once tried to sneak a shirt from Hugh’s wardrobe and spent the next six weeks with one arm in a sling. Father Abel watched the boy with a dumb struck expression on his face, the story didn’t sink in, he was to busy franticly fixating on one point. “I thought you bought eh boy clothes” he whined, making a high pitched squeaky noise that displayed his distaste for unclothed teenaged boys wandering the house, invisible or not. “why does he insist of being naked , and when he’s out side too!” he whined at the heavens, sighing and plopping his head onto the table with a dull thud. Ester laughed, “interesting boy” she smiled, doing “the face” at Abel’s immature behaviour and slapped him with the spatula for slouching at the table. She nodded at Muraki as he went to the door, secretly happy to have the kitchen to her self as she started to plate up all the breakfasts.

Sheba leaned herself against the doorpost with legs and arms crossed, staring sideways at everyone in turn. So, the injured man had escaped from within a den of Saviours: this was an amazing feat no doubt. He must be very powerful, she assumed. But she felt guilty: firstly because she and everyone else here should've prevented his escape and secondly because she couldn't help but admire his skill and determination. Was that really such a traitorous thought? Straightening up, she tentatively approached Father Hugh, waiting for him to finish his exercises. She intended to ask him what the Saviours were going to do about this criminal. If they were going to find him and make him repent his crimes, then fair enough - she would definitely feel obliged to help them. However, she had a strange feeling that they weren't going to take any such chances with him...

Father Hugh exhaled through his nose, before pulling a “Oh what now” face, that was to be honest barely notable on the priests doll like features. He sighed and held his arms out where they where, balancing on one foot, entirely still. He cracked open one eye and looked at the girl silently before speaking more flat at monotone than the voice on the end of an unconnected phone call. “yes?” he asked, waiting for the girl to do what ever she felt was worth interrupting him for.

Father Hugh didn't look terribly happy. "Excuse me? Sorry, but..." Sheba stood a little further away from him than you normally would when speaking with someone. Maybe it was a little rude to interrupt. Ah, never mind. "Just a question: what are you all going to do about that criminal? I mean, obviously you're going to go recapture him, but what will you do with him then?" She shrugged and spread her hands in a gesture of dilemma.

Muraki froze at her question. No-one really liked to dicuss what was going to happen to the criminals once they had been captured, restrained and prosecuted. It was a gruesome business and it was never one to be discussed in light, polite conversation. "Sheba, my dear, I don't think you concern yourself with that sort of buisness. All you need to know is that we'll take care of him, make sure he doesn't harm any other people." He smiled sweetly, speaking in a calm and soothing tone, as if he was speaking to a child. The shower turned on as Toby stepped in, cleansing himself of the city's pollution and wrapping himself in the warmth of the water. Muraki averted his eye, watching each of the people's reactions to the situation, trying to gauge what they were thinking by their emotions and reactions. "We have to accept that he's missing, no matter how he got out. Where would he go? He can't go to the Beacon, and without any knowledge of where he is, I can't search the whole city for him, it would take days." He sat down on the couch, sinking in. "How are we going to find him?" He asked, the real question being ho could Muraki help him to see the error of his ways.

They'll take care of him, and he won't hurt anyone. Sheba took this to mean that he was going to be locked up. Satisfied, she nodded at Muraki and sat in one of his comfortable white chairs, not thinking to apologise to Hugh. Leaning on the arms of the chair, she propped her chin up with one hand and puzzled. "Maybe he went back to his hideout?" she suggested innocently. She wasn't sure where that was, but if anyone knew it would be the Saviours. And it was the only thing she could come up with, anyway - she had no experience in the ways a criminal's mind works.

Muraki shook his head solemnly. It seemed like the most obvious place to look, hence why they might ignore it, but as Muraki's eye span round, adjusted, he soon found the place to be empty. His eye focused again on what was happening in the room, and he spoke again, this time with a little more purpose. "He wouldn't go back there, not after Abel had made his little visit. Besides, some of their members aren't winged, and can't fly. Most likely they'll hide in the city buildings, ground floor. They originally were in the Beacon because they were all winged. 'The Winged Ones' they called themselves during the epidemic. He'll probably go into hiding to recover, regain some sort of composure, plan something, gain the element of surprise. I would suggest we also do the same. That means that none of us can act too out of the normal for a while." He said, eyeing Abel and Hughe, both predators who weren't exactly 'normal'.
It was then Toby emerged looking shockingly handsome and manly. He was dressed in a loose white shirt, deep blue jeans and his hair was hanging limply around his eyes, wet but styled neatly to brush across the tops of his eyes, drawing attention to the big brown eyes, the innocence replaced with a manly hardening. He smiled his lopsided grin and shuffled over, standing behind Muraki's chair, hands in pockets as he tried to catch up to the conversation.

Hugh didn’t respond to the question, half out of distaste for answering it and half because Muraki had saved him the trouble. He simply closed his one eye and went back to what he was doing. Ignoring that witch happened around him. Abel sat up a little and turned, nodding in agreement with Muraki “yes, yes certainly…” He sighed running a hand through his white hair. “well you’re right he certainly wont be where we can easily find him. Ester, could you get talk to intelligence and see if they have heard anything? Hughue y- “ the blond interrupted. “not do anything?” he asked irritably, Standing and picking up his cane, twirling it between his fingers and backing up against the wall again. Abel laughed nervously “ah, yes well, as Muraki said it would be best to lie low for a while and wait until he moved again.” “but he’s weak now” the sword dancer argued. “yes I know, but as am I” Abel sighed, rubbing his forehead “We shall wait, hear what HQ have to say and go from there” he insisted, the younger Priest nodded and then blended into the background. Behind the tall priest the only woman in the room was making breakfast, and nodded at Abel’s instructions “I’ll get on that as soon as I can” she reassured him, placing a hand on his arm lovingly and smiling. Her eyes drifted when the door opened, the young boy came out looking a lot better than he did, then again she hadn’t exactly seen him before, but at least now he was clothed … sort of. “dear me” she muttered, throwing the towel over her shoulder and going over to the boy. “Look at you” she muttered, shaking her head. “Honestly kids these days” she said as she stuck her hands into the boys jeans, swiftly pulling them up and almost shaking the teen into them. She also made light work of doing a few buttons up on his shirt, leaving only the top undone and tucked in the bottom neatly. All in about five seconds flat. Stepping back she smiled and looked at him, licking her finger and cleaning muck of his face that he’d missed and brushed the hair away from his eyes. “there you are, much smarter” she smiled, triumphantly going back to the plates and placing them at the table, followed by Abel who was doing a good impression of a desperately hungry six foot puppy.

Muraki had his eyes closed in thought, but smiled, amused by Esther's broody and motherly instinct. He had seen it all through his eyelids and the back of his head after all. It was good to have a woman around, someone to break the dominantly male atmosphere. He had barely got to know the quiet Sabaku yet even though she had been staying, and Sheba was simply a polite guest, passing through in a time of crisis.
Toby stood with his legs splayed, looking helplessly at her, with a slight annoyance in his eye. As soon as her back was turned, he loosened his trousers a little, untucked his shirt while shaking his hair and unbuttoned a few more buttons. He smiled at the improvement and slumped onto the couch, reaching for the remite lazily. The news flashed up with a man in a suit.
black jackets and the bakery. The shops were only just opening for the morning and there are no signs of a break in. A whole rack seemed to have gone missing mysteriously with no sign of a forced entry, or any trace....at all! Police are currently looking for fingerprints and will then start on a search of the area, looking for the disposed wra...
Toby made a 'pfft' noise with his lips and switched the channel to something bright, squeaky and brainless to waste away his time. Muraki called into the little Kitchen, which was really just made up of a few island counters and some white linolieum flooring.

Sabaku nodded, her expression remained still (she held her posture well) and slowly entered, immediately searching the room with her eyes for unfamiliar people to be wary of. She spotted the 'father' and 'sister' busily in their own business so she decided that it was safe to continue talking to Muraki. "I... brought presents," she announced, holding up a small package in one hand and a larger, more round package, neatly wrapped. "Merry Christmas," she said sollemnly, feeling slightly shy. She turned to see Toby watching the television lazily. She grinned quickly and called to him. "Toby..." she said awkwardly, holding up the bag with difficultly as her hands were full. Hoping he would know what she meant, she continued to look from Muraki to Toby until one of them reacted.

"Oh you're too kind!" Muraki blushed, taking the present from her hand, relieving her from some of the weight. He span around and realised that the tree wasn't up yet. There were the boxes ready to put the tree and decorations up, but with all the people and work Muraki and Abel had been up to, the time they would have used got gobbled up ever-so quickly.
Toby heard his name being called and slowly tore his eyes away from the television screen to see where it had came from. He saw that Sabaku was back and colour rushed to his cheeks at only the sight of her. He straightened up and when he saw the presents in her hand, his grin grew wide across his face. "For me?" He asked and from he stance it was obvious it was. He rose shyly and took the present away tenderly, trying not to throw her off balance. He shyly thanked her and sat down with it on his lap, staring at it childishly. He had stowed hers away in his room, safely under his pillow until he worked up the courage to give it to her.
Muraki was beaming over Toby's reaction to Sabaku giving him a present. It was obvious from his bright cheeks and averted gaze that he had taken to her with more affection than planned. He placed the present by the fireplace and eyed the boxes of decorations gleefully. "Right, since we have alot more hands to help out, how would everyone like to put the decorations up? I know it's a bit last minute, but I'm sure you won't mind helping out." He looked at Hughe, Esther, Sheba and Sabaku to try and encourage them to help.

Sheba's taste in Christmas decorations was a bit like her taste in clothing. She liked hot pink and lime green, rather than the traditional forest green. Still, she couldn't say no to putting up Christmas decorations. "These boxes here, Muraki?" she asked, motioning to the stack of boxes. Lifting down the top box with ease (the box had somehow become very lightweight) she reached inside and pulled out a long silver garland of glittery tinsel. Some christmas tree ornaments had gotten stuck along the length of it while it was in storage. Sheba lifted a bunch of it up over her head and carefully brought her hands away, leaving the tinsel floating lighter than air. It looked like a modern cloud, being buffeted about by every tiny breeze. The christmas tree ornaments dangled comically beneath, swaying with every movement. "It's my Christmas trick," Sheba explained, stepping back with pride.

Muraki clapped marrily, scooping out a white christmas hat instead of red and donning it on his head. He started opening boxes and pulling out decorations, like the rest of his house, they were silver, white and a few black decorations for his white tree. He looked at the tree which was surprisingly real looking, even if it was an odd colour compared to normal. "Well, we can't get merry without some music and bubbly, can we?" He clapped and a bot sprung into action, a large box in the corner which had seemed useless suddenly started blaring 'Jingle Bell Rock'. "A little quiter please!" Muraki shouted, covering his ears as the bot adjusted it's volume and soom was humming out tunes at a calming volume. "Now for the bubbly." He said and the fridge door swung open, a bottle jumped out and skittered across the table, landing neatly on the edge of the counter. A wheeled bug then de-latched itself from the bottle and rolled away, it's long wirey arms folding inwards and jumping into the fridge. The door swung closed again and Muraki beamed when the little episode was over. "I love being lazy." He said, bumbling towards the counter and popping the cork with expertise. "Who's having some then?" He asked, waving his now full glass around. "Me!" Toby said, piping up at any chance to try something new. "You're not old enough!" Muraki protested, his brow furrowed. "What's the age limit?" Toby argued back, folding his arms and pouting his lips. "Older than you." Muraki whined, knowing that Toby most likely was old enough. "Fine then, If I'm old enough you might aswell pour me some, you old fart." Toby said, grinning widely. "Oh...Was I thinking aloud?" Muraki wondered, sure he hadn't muttered a word about Toby's age aloud. "Um...I don't think so...I just kind of heard you..." Toby stuttered, surprised at his new talent. "You can read minds!" Muraki beamed again, making his cheeks hurt with surprise and awe. "Oh come on, maybe it was just instinct, I doubt I can actually read minds, that's just out of my league..." Toby wondered, now curious whether his new ability was instinct or not. "Pick a number...Oh how cheesy is this..." Toby cringed at the idea, but it was sure to tell if he could or not. Muraki thought long and hard of a number that would be hard to guess. At last he clicked his fingers and thought of the number over and over. "Pie? What's pie got to do with numbers?" Toby said, puzzled. Muraki gasped and clapped his hands. "By Jove, He's got it!" He ran over, spilling his champagne slightly and hugged the boy around his head, ruffling his hair. Toby batted him away, almost scared of the man even when he was sober.

Ester looked up .” Oh, ME I want to help. Move Hugh, you gigantic inconvenience! Honestly, yours as useful as a hat stand, just standing there” she said, shoving blond out from her path and pushing past him to reach the tree decorations. “Oh I love doing this!” she smiled, diving into a box of decorations trying to find the ones she likes. “my these are a silly colour” she muttered, much preferring tradition. “oh I’m sorry” she apologised quickly, forgetting it was not her home. “Esther. Esther, we have a church to run!” Abel whined, while tucking into the food Ester had prepared for him. “There tree’s already done at the church” she blinked, faking innocence. “thashotmhpoint!” able said through a mouth full of fruit and pastry. Swallowing he tried again . “some one has to be there it’s Christmas eve, you know everyone wants to confess before Christmas starts….” “I’m not allowed to work the confessional, /father/” she chirped happily, , running a long piece of silver tinsel through her finger tips. “Hugh will have to go” To that the blond was already shaking his head before able could turn and attempt to talk him around. Abel sighed helplessly, closing his eyes. “I guess I’ll have to go, Though I don’t see why I’m the one that actually lives here” he pouted, placing the empty metal wrapper on the table and getting his jacket. “don’t whine so much Abel, its impolite!” Ester lectured, having to tip toe to reach the top part of the tree to start adding the tinsel. Turning to Sheba she grinned widely “oh my that’s so pretty, how are you doing that?” she asked, tapping a bauble gently. Hugh cringed at the music, wanting to go hide some where else but knowing he wanted to stay and watch over the assortment of gifted in the room, worried for their safety more than anything, Abel could handle himself and Ester could too, but he still stayed to just keep an eye on things. Ester looked over at Muraki “Oh, May I?” she asked softly, pulling her puppy eyes. She watched the Toby boy reading the mind of the scientist. It truly was amazing, he did have a gift. They always amazed her, she was still impressed by Hugh and Abel day by day, gifted never stopped amazing her. "well I never" she said simply. Hugh simply stood in the corner thinking "Don't thing incrimnating things!" over and over, and only making himself think about them even more.

Sheba grinned back - she'd taken a friendly liking to Esther. "I can change the density of objects, so they weigh more or less," she recited, sounding as though she'd been asked this question many times. "Small things like the tinsel are easiest, but it'll probably fall down when I leave. Otherwise I would decorate my whole house like that..." She paused to think about that for a moment, but was distracted by some fuss that Muraki and Toby were making about pies. Nodding and smiling happily, she took a glass of champagne from Muraki, still trying to figure out what was going on.
