This tiny flat is located right in one of the the busiest, most interesting parts of the city. It is number 79 of one-hundred-and-twelve flats in one of the city's prominent skyscrapers. Renting here is stupidly expensive: you could buy a nice mansion in the suburbs for what they charge. Sheba likes to call her flat a 'studio', because she is a musician with an ego.
Sheba's flat is on a corner on the sunset side of the building. The door opens directly onto a combined kitchen and living area. The room is dark purple and there's no dining table here, all eating is done in front of the TV. Her mini kitchen consists of a fridge, a microwave, a small sink and a cooktop that only has one element. There's no bench space to prepare your meal on so you have to use the top of the microwave.
The rest of this room is cluttered with violins and violin-related paraphernalia such as sheets of music, speakers, music stands, different coloured bows and spare violin parts. You'd be lucky to spot the TV and couch in amongst it all.
The two far walls are floor-to-ceiling windows, one wall looking out onto a wee balcony. From here you can be seen much of the city. Much of the city can also see you, as there are no curtains.
There are two other rooms in the flat: a bedroom and a small, windowless bathroom. The bathroom has only a shower, a toilet and a sink and is also overflowing with bottles of products used to spike Sheba's hair up. Most males would avoid being associated with it. The bedroom has more floor-to-ceiling windows (although these have curtains), a bed and is overflowing with Sheba's odd assortment of clothing. Sheba is not the tidiest of people, and her apartment is far too small for her.
