Although a flat, and although Muraki doesn't seem to go to work alot, it is an extravagant, enormous and expensive house. Walking in you find a ridiculously large room. The living room section had two tvs, both built in one above the other. Three white leather couches surrounded it and white roses on glass tables added a touch of luxury. A large black rug was furry and was perfect for burying your toes into on a cold winter's morn. the kitchen seemed to shimmer with appliances. Cooking was hardly a chore as almost everything was substitued with an aplliance. The white worktops were unstained and new, and the silver of the fridge, cooker and oven was so highly polished they doubled as a mirror. The ceilings were high everywhere, and every wall and floor was white. It almost looked like a show apartment and hardly lived in. There were white vases, empty and full of white flowers dotted around. An archway, white, lead into the hallway which was tall and around every door was a border of diamond shaped mirrors. There was 5 doors. One to Muraki's room, again luxurious and perfectly neat. The second was the the shared bathroom, not that he needed it with each bedroom having an en suite. The third was a spare room, currently un-used and never touched yet never seemed to collect dust either. The fourth door was to Abel's room, lacking in colour and actual things. It was one of the biggest bedrooms and all it had was a bed and bedside table, holding a bible. Finally, the last door in the corridor lead to the Laboratory. It had everything a scientist could dream of, and more. Things bubbled and brewed everywhere and a few white mice squeaked from their cages, fed, fat and content. The house was overall extrodinarily clean, and small robots moved around, buzzing and whirring as they went, hoovering bits of dirt and dusting the unreachable shelves. Every few weeks they would beep and move away to charge themselves, or simply die on the way. The house was a clean, white, crisp heaven and housed the two most lunatic people to live together in Souzetsu City, Abel and Muraki.

bip bip. The shape in the bed mumbled something and rolled over. bip bip? Greyish blue eyes blinked half open, to be greeted with two small LED lights staring back at him, one raised higher than the other in question. Bip bip beep? "Alright Alright, I'm Up, I'm-" Abel yawned widely "Up" he said through the yawn. sitting up and swinging his legs over the side of the bed, fumbling around for his slippers. He wore nothing but his pajamas and of course his cross hanging heavily on his chest. Mumbling he pulled himself out of the bed, the small robot he was talking to made a small chirp and started to make the bed behind him. That was a problem living in this apartment, the robots sometimes treat you as if you where in the way, it got mighty annoying after a while. Abel dragged himself to the fridge, his first port of call every single morning like clock work. "Oh!" he locked his hand together in glee "Muraki got cake, oh he's such a lovely man!" he grinned and laughed, picking the sweet baked cake from the fridge and cutting himself a large slice. Laughing happily he shuffled his way to the living room, snuggling down into the sofa to eat his lovely sweet cake.

Muraki appeared out of the shower, wet and wrapped his bottom half in a large white towel. He shuffled into the living room and silently went over to Abel. "Breakfast comes before cake, Abel." He said, slipping the plate out of his hand and putting it back in the fridge. "I'll come fry something for us both in a moment, until then shut up that belly of yours. His eye swiveled round and watched the fridge magnet grow legs, shuffle over to the finger prints and rub them off, returning to its place afterwards. Muraki yawned and walked into his room and got changed, shoving on a large white shirt and black trousers, not bothering with the buttons. He sighed as he thought of the food bills and began to shuffled back into the kitchen again. "Hum...bacon or sausage?" He asked.

"ahh! wait what? No please I'm starving!" he whined gaping at the gap in his hand where the plate should go, he watched his cake go with a pained expression, looking back at the fork with its small piece of cake left on it. "But it's such a good cake!" he said , his voice all squeaky and pathetic. He mumbled to himself at his motherly room mate taking away his precious sweets but dragged himself back to his room in a huff to get dressed into his uniform. emerging from his room he walked back to the living room, adjusting his glasses gently. "Er, both?" he smiled sweetly tyeing his hair back with a dark ribbon.

"I would say pig, but a pig eating pig is a little bit out of character..." He said, taking the bacon and the sausage out of the fridge, trying desperately to ignore the fridge magnet wiping the finger marks. His eye swiveled round and watched Abel and making sure his uniform was alright. "Fine, just this once I'll make both." He said, checking the dates and opening the meat, chucking it in the pan lazily, cracking eggs and toasting bread. He bustled around, throwing crumbs and spitting fat everywhere. Machines jumped into action and began wiping, hoovering, dusting and cleaning madly. He was used to them and even stopped to give one a new battery when it bleeped. "Up to anything interesting today?" He asked conversationally, his tone light.

Abel laughed and smiled at Muraki. "oh you know it's no my fault" He smiled lightly walking around to the breakfast bar with his usual spring in his step. "Oh thankyoooou" he grinned, propping his head up on his hands, watching the food getting prepare with a blissfully glisten in his eyes. He swatted away a robot that aparently wanted to clean his robe, to be fair he didn't mind that much, but this morning they all seemed to want to bother him. "huh?" Abel said, having to tear his eyes away from the pan. "Oh, the usually, heading over to the homeless shelter, then to the old folks home, then I have to stop by Mrs Jones to pick up her medication for her, Help sister Ester with the baking sale shes organized, then I have to go to the Church for an afternoon service. Pretty normal" he smiled widely. "I'll be holding another meeting at shining later on today" he nodded, "you Can come if you want" he said softly, reaching out and trying to take a piece of bread.

"You're a right giver you are." He said, slowly putting the bacon, eggs, toast, sausage on a plate, deliberately prolonging the event just to watch Abel drool. He passed the plate to him, taking the cutlery himself so Abel couldn't start until he got to the table. "Table..." He warned, seeing Abel eye the food like it was a huge bar of heavenly chocolate. "And if you are good and stop swatting my robots, I'll even let you have some cake before you go off on your little 'Help everyone' parade." He smiled and reached the table, setting down the cutlery at Abel's seat and chowing down himself. "You know I want no part in that rubbish, what threat is some rouge gifteds to the world anyway?"

Abel smiled "It's just what I do" he smiled, watching the food with a needy face, whining a little at how long it was taking. He moved to take the place but was stopped and pouted, moving of to the table as he was told. "I would if they stopped harassing me, One tried to make my bed while I was still in it this morning" he whined sitting at the table like an impatient child, waiting for His food to be put down. Grinning he was about to tuck in when he rolled his eyes to the sky and pulled a grumpy childish face he clasped his hands together in prayer closing his eyes. Mumbling a prayer he finished quickly before happily tucking into his breakfast. Blinking he swallowed as best he could and looked up "We are all god's children, but they seem to think them selves superior, they will kill if they see it necessary, just to prove they are....perhaps godly" he said, his voice totally changed to a serious tone, after a moments silence he looked up and smiled, shoveling more food into his mouth.

"I sent that one in this morning, since you can't own an alarm-clock, the bugs are set to do things at times which are...convinient to you. And I will lock that fridge next time cake's in it if you try and sneak some again." He warned, waving his fork. Muraki glanced at Abel in shock of his serious change, with both eyes this time. He took a large mouthful and swallowed it, chugging water to stop him choking. "Fine, I'll come to this meeting if you really want me to, but be warned, I'm not a good fighter." He finished his meal and began to clear up, which basically consisted of putting the dishes on the kitchen side and leaving the bugs to do the rest. Reaching into the fridge, he pulled out the cake that Abel had sliced. "Hum..." He pondered, taking out the knife. He chopped it rougly in half and slid one half of it off into a napkin. He wrapped it neatly, pinning it with a neat white pin. "Voila, you can have this now, but leave this bit until later, I know how you get hungry during the day. " He smiled sweetly and handed the bundle over and the plate. There was a large knock at the door and Muraki's eye swung round to look. "Oh God..." He said, running to the door with incredible speed. He opened it and a small bloody boy fell through the doorway into Muraki's open arms. He looked into the boys eyes and tried to assess the damage. His lifespan was much longer than expected, which reassured Muraki. "It's okay, Sparrow. You'll be fine." He said, cradling the boy and stroking the feathery wings on his back. He didn't question why, how, who, when or what, he simply accept the disaster with open arms and figured a way out. "Abel, Help me get him in." He asked, barely turning round to face him.

"Well, you could do with giving them some manners" he muttered, using the last of his toast to make sure he didn't loose anything on the plate at all. "Let me he-...ok don't" he laughed softly as muraki cleaned away, watching the bots with a soft sense of fascination, they where amazing little toys. He looked up as the cake...Er, muraki returned /with/ the cake, his eyes glassed over gleefully as he accepted the cake happily "ooh, thank you!" he moaned drooling slightly. His eyes snapped to Murkai's back as he hastily ran past. something was wrong, and it must have been serious, as Abel left the cake on the table. He was behind Muraki and his face softened at the sight of the winged boy. "oh my" he said softly, "excuse me" he said, softly nudging his roommate out of the way, using his bigger and more able body to lift the child clean of the floor and carry him into the living room lying him down gently on the sofa, checking the child's body quickly. he knew muraki's eyes could already see, he checked for himself. He knelt by the boy and touches his wing gently. "who is he?" he asked, looking at the boy with a deep concern.

The boy was unconcious, his mouth slightly open, his eyes closed almost peacefully. When Abel scooped him up, taking him out of Muraki's eyes he wimpered almost, not wanting to let go of the fragile child. Muraki ran into the lab and grabbed his oversized box of bandages, chemicals and lotions to help wounds. He almost dived into it, pushing things aside until he found what he was looking for, a large bundle of bandages and some scissors. He dabbed some cotton wool in a bowl of chemicals and patted one of the boys wounds lightly. "This is amazing, his whole skeletal construction has been rearranged to fit his wings in. He has three spines.... so many extra bones, and they are so small. He's broke his ankle, can you prop that up for me?" He bustled around him, bandaging and dabbing everwhere. He looked at the boy, feeling a surge of guilt and affection when he winced after being dabbed. "I don't know. I didn't see a fight anywhere around here, he must of flew here. That's if he can fly...I don't know if it's possible. He's a cross with a sparrow, I can tell with the wing pattern. I used to bird-watch." He said, glancing up at Abel. the boy seemed even small in proportion to Abel, a walking giant. "I can take care of him, you have places to go. If you miss anything people will worry, they depend on you." He said, wanting Abel to leave so Muraki could be as possessive as he wanted, yet wanting him to stay simply because he thought having a priest around would be some sort of lucky charm. Even if the priest was a demonic vampire at times. The boy groaned and blinked at Abel, then at Muraki. Panicked, he dissapeared. Muraki saw his bare arms and face dissapear leaving only some clothes floating. They began to move around and eventually they lay as a pile on the floor. Muraki stood up, too shocked and confused to move. "I can't see him!" He shouted helplessly. His eye spun around manically, making him feel sick with the spinning. "Abel!" He shouted, clutching his eye and kneeling down. A robot beeped and a crunch soon followed. Muraki's eye locked onto the fuzzy picture. All he could see was faint blotches of blood moving about. "Grab him!" He shouted, standing up and trying to move towards him.

Abel watched Murkai go, keeping his hand resting in the child's despite the tiny fragile feel to it. He listened as Muraki spoke, his heart ached for the child as his condition was explained to the priest. He closed his eyes briefly and crossed his chest and touched his fore head, quickly blessing and praying for the winged boy. Nodding he propped the foot as he was told. "yes but-" he began, only he was interrupted as the boy vanished into thin air, his attention flicked back to Muraki as he panic, his eyes spinning madly. the moving clothes clearly told Abel that he was just invisible in the flesh. He nodded and looked around, it was easy for him to find the boy, the blood on his skin glowed a florescent red in Abel's eyes, the smell leaving lines through the air pinpointing the boys tiny frame perfectly. He quickly outstretched a large hand, grasping hold of the boys shoulders only firm enough to keep his grip, taking great care not to harm the boy. "Don't panic,we won't hurt you, we are on your side" He reassured the child quickly.

The child shook and shivered. "I'm cold." He said simply, shaking himself out of Abel's grip. The large man scared him, no matter how kind hearted he actually was. He stayed invisible, walking over to his pile of clothes and donning the large stolen clothes. When he was full clothed, he flickered back into being visible. "Where am I?" He asked, looking at his hands to make sure he wasn't still see-through.
Muraki watched the boy move, his organs slowly working and his bones creaking against each other. The boy tried to lean on his left ankle and winced, toppling side-ways. "Wuhh!" He cried, falling heavily. Muraki jumped to his feet and reached out, missing the boy's hand by an inch. He landed with a thud and Muraki closed his eyes, which didn't help because he just looked through the extra layer. The boy groaned and got up with a defiant look in his eye. "I escaped...I flew away...I don't remember the rest." He said sadly, in a quiet shy voice. He hobbled over to the couch and lay down on it, face first. "I'm so tired...." He sighed.
Muraki looked at Abel wide-eyed and shrugged. This was such a confusion. "You're in my house, I'm Muraki a scientist. This is Abel, he's a priest." He said, sparing on the introductions eager to find out who he is. "That's nice." The boy said back, sighing deeply into the cushions. Muraki looked taken aback and mouthed at Abel. "Help me!", sitting on another couch and rubbing his temples.

Abel let go of the boys at the words, looking very confused. He watched the boys dress, until he realized what he was doing and wet bright red, looking the other way, despite the boy being invisible. He flinched to help the boy, but he fell and helped himself up before the large clumsy priest could respond. "where did you escape from?" he asked, his voice serious again, but still soft. His eyes conveyed his deep concern and sense of duty. unusually a streak of concern crossed his features not aimed at the boy, but aimed at himself and his room mate. "Why did you come here?" he asked with a firm tone, his hand going to his hip, where his pistol rested. He knew he was asking many questions but he stayed at his full height, asserting a silent kind of authority.

Sabaku looked down at a small card that she held in her hand. She didn't know how reliable this was, but she needed a knowledgable person. She looked up at the apartment door - this should be the home. With an intake of breath, she knocked on the door, tapping her foot with paranoia that she'd got the wrong place.
