"Stupid!?" Cyrus laughed to himself as he continued to walk. "Elementary, my dear Pendulum." He stopped and peered around, his dog doing the same. Then as he began to push the concrete slab out of his way to gain entry he noticed the figure on the rooftops. "I can see you!" He shouted insanely "And you're welcome to come with me too. If you've got nowhere else to go... But be warned! My dog is not the only one that bites."

Soshi stopped as he reached the end of the street, hearing Cyrus' calls back. He raised an eyebrow, rolled his eyes and sped back. "There, those are MY powers," he said bluntly. "And if it involves walking or running, I wouldn't mind. Don't make me get in a vehicle." And he caught up to this man, avoiding his gaze as much as possible. "Your dog seems to be the tame one, but I can't be certain," he said, half humorously. He stroked his arm, slowly heating it up. His breath was condensing with the bitter cold air and his eyes were twitching with cold. Though he managed to warm up quite quickly and he rushed forward, allowing the man to keep up. "What am I supposed to call you, 'fireman'?" He said, irritatedly. "Tell me your alias, at least."

"Just call me Cyrus" he grinned. "Do you know that guy, on the roof?" They continued to walk past the dead end, and into a small alley way. On either side there was a tall building. The door nearest was slightly opened, and scorched black. "This is my home. It's empty. No-one would know it's here."

Laughing at at the man who gave her a blind eye, she turned to remove herself from the roof but heard some disturbance, at the sound of hearing it she left.

Soshi nodded respectfully towards the man named Cyrus. He was happy that he wasn't one of those people who insisted of being left alone. Kinda like himself. "Well, erm," he said, glancing up at the home of Cyrus. "Are you sure you want me to come in...?" he muttered, looking around at the fiercely scorched door that led inside. "I mean, we just met..." he was trying to find some way of keeping out of a sealed off room with someone he'd just met. He didn't trust anyone, and he wasn't ready to start trusting a guy who had hair over his eye. Though when Soshi caught a glimpse of Cyrus' eyes, he found his heart skip a beat at the depth and beauty that swam in them. He coughed to readjust his posture, then. "That person of the roof, they've gone," he said, his ears clearly listening to running feet in the distance. He looked around and they were indeed gone.

"I don't mind. I don't hurt, yeah." He grinned, he could sense the lack of trust between them, and he noticed the way he shifted around when he caught a glimpse of his handsome eyes. "And don't worry, I'm not the one you should worry about around here." He unlocked the outside door and stepped into the gloom of the empty apartment block. The black swallowed him up immediately. His voice called back - "And shut the door, the draught is terrible!"

A ring sounded and Soshi's coat pocket rumbled. From it, he produced his mobile phone, and, with a swift and cool movement, he answered it. "Go," he said sharply. "Fine." And he hung up. He then turned to face Cyrus. "Something came up," he said bluntly, his hand on the door knob already. "I'll find you later, I probably will." He stepped out of the door and pulled the door behind him. Before it was shut entirely, he finished. "I tend to do a lot of walking alone, on the streets." The door clicked shut and he sprinted in a flash, leaping over hedges and fences.
