This shop is owned by Muraki. The outside is nothing that stands out, painted plainly in white with a Black sign announcing the name of the shop. When you enter the shop you are greeted with many red, blue and green lights seemlingly looking at you and beeping curiously. These are the bug bots, there are many to be found and all have artificial intelligence, incredible cleaning skills and even a few emotions. The largest looks like two robotic arms stuck together on a ball. It hangs from the cooker or dishwasher and is resistant to heat, self cleaning, water resistant and can operate most household appliances. This is the most popular bug to be sold, and also the most helpful. It is voice activated and can stack your dishwasher, dry and put them away, put things in and out of the oven at certain times and serve up your dinner. The advanced model can even operate a hoover by hopping on one hand and pushing with the other. There are other smudge removal robots, smaller and disguised. The one seen in Muraki's house is the fridge bug. It is a small fridge magnet which grows legs and wipes away nasty smudges. Another is the doorbug. It crawls across your door, and swings around handles making a sighing noise and polishing it nicely. The second most popular bug series is the sweep bot series. There is the crumb bug, hooving small crumbs away off floors and sufaces, the stain bug which can take stains out of any carpet, no matter how heavy duty. The spill bug which can wipe up spills in no time. There are many other bugs which can do almost everything around the house, some for sale and some still in the testing stage at Muraki's house. They are all hand made and come in custom colours and shapes. Also any that are for sale are sold right here at Bug Bots.

Pia walks into the shop with a nervous glance at all the bugs. She'd heard of these creatures in the slums but they were more eciting when seen in person. She goes up to one and touches it. Instantly it starts buzzing and rushes over the other bugs towards the door handle, cleaning it. "Wow!" sighed Pia "I would so love one of these..." She continues exploring the shop, setting off more of these bugs and watching what they do. When she finishes she cries "Hello! Is anyone there? I'm looking for a job. Could I please have one here?"

Muraki entered the shop, Toby in tail. They walked through the back way, Toby's wings hidden under a large trenchcoat that was bright clean white. He was uncomfortable, and certainly not staying quiet about it. "Urgh! This is horrible, can't I cut holes in the back and just stick my wings..." He whined, shifting his back. "you will do no such thing!" Muraki scolded the child, realising he sounded more like his mother every day. He shook it off as he heard a voice calling through the cutrain. "Shush, and stay back here. No stepping on anymore robots, and if they start coming at you spill something away from you." He said, striding through the curtains casually and straightening the black tie. "A job eh? Well frankly this shop is so lonely the bugs could run it themselves. I don't need a cleaner, although I do need some company, the bugs aren't so talkative." Toby could be heard fumbling around and a crunch was heard and Muraki winced. "Sorryy....." Toby mumbled and a few bugs bleeped and scuttled and zoomed away to help the squished robot. It bleeped helplessly and a few others whirred angrily at Toby. One even cried "Murder, Murder!" in a robotic monotone voice. "Oh will everony just calm down! You, phone bot, he is not a murderer, he's just an incredibly clumsy boy." "I take that to offence you know!" Toby said, entering the room, kicking aside the beads and brushed specks off dust off himself. "Daijo, you can't be here all the time you know, and the bugs told me they are bored of not having something to do. Perhaps she could advertise and take a few bugs for walks?" He suggested, looking the woman up and down flirtaciously. "How did you know they were bored?" Muraki said, shocked at how the boy had picked up their language to fast. "Well for one, the wrote boredom in the sand I dropped. And Two, they talk in morse code, easy enough to figure out." The Phone-bug, which was like a large hand wrapped around the phone, unlatched itself and crawled onto the desk on four fingers, the fifth being the speaker and microphone. "Bugs have emotions, bugs need entertainment. And they can't empty mess." It said mechanically, the clang on the syllables almost like a bell. "And Dog-Mess-Bot needs walkies." It added calmly, Toby cracking into fits of laughter as the lollopy dog-mess-bot beeped and nodded. It looked like a gangly dog whos legs were bendy. It was on spring-like legs which bounced rhymically as it walked. A humourous and handy contraption. Muraki massaged his temples and looked at the girl. She was attractively exotic looking, with an air of sophisticated determination about her and of proffessional seriousness. "Fine, you can have a job. The pay won't be much, and your going to have to get used to the bugs." He said, waving his finger at her. His eye swiveled to watch Toby as he sneakily thrusted in success.

"Oh wow! Thank you! I don't mind the money, all I need is something to do in all the spare time - my course at the university isn't too demanding..." exclaimed Pia. This was exactly what she needed! Plus the Bots looked so cute. I'm so excited about walking them...! She'd noticed the younger boy looking her in a way that made her tingle inside. Awwww...he's so sweet. And what's up with me why am I all tingly...this is so dumb I am having an innder monologue...is this normal? Jeez, stop thinking and talk... plus he might be cute Pia, but he's too young...nothign could possibly happen... Sighing, Pia said "I can only work all day on Saturday and Sunday and I can put in some extra time after university which I leave at 2.30pm. I can work till whenever after that! Oh and do you want me take Dog-Mess-Bot on a walk now?"

"I'll come with you! Toby bounded up to her side and grabbed her arm gleefully, patting his leg and dogbot bounced up easily, eventually landing on his shoulder and sitting looking robotically gleeful. "I'm Toby, I'll help you sometimes." Toby said chatting away chirpily. glad to have someone to natter away to. Muraki called over the top of him "Anytimes are good, just as long as you can pitch in sometimes. I'll teach you how to perform maintainence checks and work the till aswell." He dissapeared behind the counter as a drained bot thumped against his toe, their sensors malfunctioning.

"Ok thanks! And thanks too Toby..." said Pia slipping her arm out of the deathlock Toby had it in. This is so exciting! My first job...the pay might not be much but MY FIRST JOB! Oh I could almost jump for joy...although that'd slightly odd... "Good luck with the ill bot sir..." she said as she left through the door. "Well are we going then...Toby?"

"Well, I haven't been out for very long so I want to go and see the fireworks that are on tonight. I haven't seen any fireworks yet. Do they just go up and explode? Wo, That must be so cool." His wings twitched unnervingly and he winced at the constriction. He wondered whether he'd be able to hide this for very long. Muraki's eye noticed it and saw that his wings were almost too large to hide under the jacket, and the feathers at the end were peeking out the bottom. He tutted and called for Toby to be careful just as they exited the shop, the bell ringing and Toby chattering things still.

"Woah, woah woah! Slow down love! Yeah lets go see the fireworks...where are they though? And are you sure dog-mess-bot won't be scared...because normal dogs are now aren't they?" replied a very taken-a-back Pia. Poor boy was obviously nervous...Not to say I'm not... As she slipped back she noticed a slight bulge on his back and feathers at the bottom. "Are you gifted?" Oops! I was meant to think that...

Toby slipped away from her, tilting his head so shadows covered most of his face. "What do you mean by that?" He asked, pressing his back against the wall. The atmosphere melted away and was replaced with a air of mystery. Muraki peeked his head up from the desk and shuffled out, standing at his full height. He was tall, but never realised it until out of the house as Abel towered over everything. "Pia, you know that asking that can get you killed around here. If any powerful gifted came along, knowing you had knowledge they would snap you like a twig. Human's never toy in the land of gifteds." He said, expecting her to be, simply a human. Of course, it was not to his knowledge that she herself was also gifted.

"I'm sorry...but you don't understand," she said nervously. This was going to get really complicated if she didn't explain herself claerly. But what will I say... "I'm a gifted too! I have control of each fleck of fire within my sight. It's when I'm angry that it's at it's worst...I do not understnad who is right and wrong, who are my friends and enemies. I become blind to emotion till my anger is over..."

"Well at least we know not to piss you off. " Toby muttered, leaning against the open door. The doorbug squealed as it was squished, Toby turned and apologised quietly to it. Muraki still was in disbelief at how his bugs had learnt English under his nose, without him knowing a thing. Ignoring that, he turned to the larger matter at hand. "Fire elemental control. Can you not create your own fire? Is it just manipulation, or is it creation. Can you do it when you are normal, and not angry? I just realised, your blood is alot hotter than normal. Your body temperature is around the 50's. Do you always feel very warm?" He was curious, inspecting all of her inner organs in almost every way he could, looking extremely close, analysing the position, watching her heart beat, checking the temperatures and examining the life span on her heart. "Wow, cut it out with the Twenty-One questions." Toby said cooly, holding up his hand. "Cool Power." He said simply after the moments silence. He was completely unphased at the fact his personality just skipped to harsh and cool, dropping the excited little boy. Even himself didn't know which was his own, he was merely experimenting.

"I can only manipulate fire when I'm clam however when angry I have been known to burn buildings down on the outskirts of the city," said Pia. "I'm not a paticularly calm person either, I find it really easy to loose my temper...that's why I'm always so scared that I will hurt a loved one..." she stared down at her feet and sighed lightly. "But enough about me," she suddenly sparked "what about you Toby!? YOU HAVE WINGS! Oops sorry!!" She made a apologetic face at Toby and Muraki.

Toby smiled sweetly at her and shuffled his jacket off. "All real Baby." He said and opened them gently. Muraki panicked and began flapping his hands. "Put those away! If someone comes in, they'll see you! Although actually theres no-one around for a few miles apart from that Church not far away." Toby sighed and put his jacket back on with a frown. "It's restricting." He said. Muraki felt his pain, as Toby had just become free, and now he still wasn't aloud to fly. "We can always drive out the country sometime and let go. You can have a fly, I can watch some birds, Abel can have a picnic, we can toast some marshmellows on a fire." He drifted off easily and a glazed look came over Toby's eyes. "That'd be nice. You would come wouldn't you Pia?" He looked at her, a determined shimmer in his eye.

"Hehe...course I will!" she felt herself to jelly and relax and then she composed herself. He must look so care free in the air... so relaxed and so calm...and he'd fit in too in the sky...he has the hair for it...OH SHUT UP WITH THE INNER MONOLOGUE! She stamped her foot as she thought this and then realised where she was. "Sorry, shall we Toby?" she said signalling towards the door.

"You drift off alot, do you hear voices?" He joked, giggling lightly, he patted her shoulder. "Only Kidding." He looked almsot confused when she pointed at the door and then realised what she was saying. "Yeah, sure. One minute." He turned towards the bugs and looked down at the gathering of them all. "Okay, who's coming..." He asked slowly, only to be deafened by a chorus of bleeps. The ones who didn't want to, whizzed around and left. The voulenteers consisted of, the two arms bots, the guard bug (A long legged spider like creature, which wraps around handles and jabs unwanted visitors), dog-mess-bug and the lamp-bug. He looked in amazement at the lamp bot, and also slight disgust. It looked like a large metal bird, and flew like one too. Except, it had no head and instead it had a large bulb which could change colours. "Ewww..." He said and it bleeped disgrunted. "Alright, Alright. Fly up here." He patted his padded shoulder and it bleeped, flying up and sitting on him, a warm orange glow from it's head. "Okay, I don't think we need, or have leads." He said. He began to walk towards the door and the bugs followed quickly, whizzing inbetween his legs and running up and down Pia's body. Muraki glared at them and they began to behave a bit more. "Make sure they don't run through puddles, and if they get lost, ring me and I'll turn on the homing devices! Oh! And I'll send a maintainence bug with you, it can help if they die on the way. Can you get some cake when you pass the shop please? Here's some money, make sure it's nice and big, plenty of icing." He put some money on the counter and a messenger bug flew down. It was small and looked like a sparrow, but it could hold many times it's own weight and size. It grabbed the money and landed on Pia's shoulder, a leg out to give it to her. Muraki smiled as his bugs bleeped and worked happily. They were cute, and good company, and not to mention extremely handy. "You nag too much." Toby said, opening the door and holding it for Pia. "To the park fireworks!" He exclaimed, pointing with a long slender finger.
