Spike landed outside the mall moments after he had left the kid on the street. He hoped that he wasn't going to muck it up and bring back a handful of police with him. He wasn't in the mood for killing anything this morning, he still ached from all that healing. He leant against the grimey wall, closing his eyes as he waited for the boy to return from his trip. He wasn't really putting much trust in him, he just wanted someone to do his dirty work for him, and to test his skills. If he could steal a jacket and some long trousers for himself then he might just survive in the group. He also wondered whether this stranger would go against the humans, even in the slightest way. After all, Light's Nemesis wanted to eradicate the weak, and if a person couldn't even go against the law, how would they hold up when it came to life or death situations? Spike shook his head. "I think too much" He said, chewing on his nail.

Working quick enough that he left a dust trail behind him, invisible and intangible Shouja quickly infiltrated the mall and had gathered all the food available in seconds. Pausing only to transfer in and out of tangibility he quickly escorted it outside. Following this, he stuck his head through the wall to check how big Spike was and decided on an easier method and looted the whole jacket selection. He also found a pair of loose jeans he liked that gave him enough leg room and stretch to keep up his speed, and escorted the giant bunch of clothing out. All in all he had taken no more than 30 seconds to loot half the store, which was quite good by his standard, but he was having trouble turning corners at speed and staying upright, let alone silent. Hopeful that his effort would impress his new 'accomplice', Shouja bolted out the store wall and stopped next to the bins for the third and final time in a flurry of wind and small leaves. He smiled at Spike, pleased with himself for doing it without alerting anyone or even making a bang. "Now is a good time to mention my talents, Spike. I'm fast."

"I like you Kid." Spike said, opening his eyes and thumbing each of the jackets. He had shown his potential with his fast reactions, witty comments and easy disobeying the law. He smiled at his little find, which was far more impressive than the last time he had tried to scout someone out. He choose around four different jackets, throwing the rest in the dumpster. His hands became covered in the oily coloured metal and lengthened his finger and thumb into long needles, sharp and lethal. He eyed them momentarily before plunging them into the jacket backs, ripping holes for his wings. He sat on the floor while he worked gradually, staying silent for a long while. He looked up at the kid's armful of food. "Tuck in...Oh are those buns?" His eyes softened as he skewered a bun and popped in his mouth whole, ripping the jackets and trying them out, poking his wings in and out each one until they were perfect size. "You got trousers that cover your feet?" He asked, noseying at what else the boy had hauled from the mall. "How'd you avoid the security, surely they noticed you sneaking in and out with all this junk." He said, motioning his head towards the whole rack of jackets.

"Well theres an art to it", said Shouja. He winked at Spike then completely phased-out, his entire form and all his clothes etc. as well as a few things in his vicinity, accompanied by an electrical taste in the air and a low buzzing. He smoothly stepped to one side about three paces and phased back in. Smiling at his own trick, Shouja walked back over to Spike and got comfortable. "Thats a nifty talent you have, Spike. Creating those spikes. I see where your names from now. I would try and compare mine to yours", he quickly flashed his serrated bony finger attatchments, "but yours are far more impressive. Just so you know, if you ever need any infilitrating work or theivery done, I'm your man. You've helped me out in a new world so I owe you one. I was dead before I came here, literally, I committed suicide. But someone up there loves me and graced me with a second chance, and it happened to be here. So if you need anything, just call in the favour. Where are we going then?"

Spike put on a deep brown jacket, opening his wings just enough so they stuck out of his jacket. He shrugged. "We could go looking for a base I guess. Let me explain. I belong to a group called Light's Nemesis. We want to advance evolution by eradicating the weak, survival of the fittest kind of. Recently we lost our base due to attack and now we're homeless." He gave the boy a meaningful look. "If you want to join us it's a big step, and if you try to leave....We'll kill you." He tried to look serious, without terrifying the boy away. "Okay, there's a huge abandoned block of building over there." He pointed away from the mall, in the direction of at large deralict building. "There's loads of space in there, we could check it out if you want?" He asked.

Well you could check it but it could be under surveillance. You want me to just quickly scan it? You know, silent and invisible like. Or no, better idea, we could both go, which was your original intention." Shouja sighed, clearly trying not to be hyper and failing. At 18 he was still really a child, and these things excited him. He was finally seeing real action. "I'm sorry, Spike, if I don't seem to level headed. I get excited sometimes, a bit of an adrenaline junkie when it comes to sneaking around. I've done it my whole life" He rubbed the back of his head and looked at the floor in an apologetic pose. In his mind, Shouja was really having a good time. He'd been in this new world for no more than 10 minutes, and he had never had a better 10 minutes. People here didnt try and kill him, which was to him, extraordinary. He'd have to keep up a life of crime though, otherwise he would evolve out of his current powers before gaining new ones. It would only be days before his abstractly formed body started to witness dramatic changes considering his evoloution rate so he would have to make the most of it while he could. To him, the idea of this 'Lights Nemesis' was very logical and practical, survival of the fittest was how the world was supposed to work, and he was quite happy to join the predatorial group, conviced he could be an asset to them. It was clear Spike thought he was too young and immature, but a few days could see him change to a man of 30, so he would strive to please this new group, he was in a new world for a reason, he may as well find it. "Okay then, Spike, whose going into the building? If you tell me where the rest of you group is, I can alert them as to the location of your new HQ. No offense but i think i can blend in more, so it seems practical. Mind you, they wouldn't know whether or not to trust me so it's your call i guess. What's happening?"

Spike raised one eyebrow, questioning the boys actions silently and then made an 'ah' shaped mouth as the boy explained. He waved away the boys suggestions, much liking how around this kid, he wasn't second best. His bossy side could finally show itself now that brat of a leader wasn't around. "I can alert the rest of the group easily, luckily someone on our team has bat like hearing, let's just hope he isn't unconcious." He turned to face all the way down the street, knowing that at the end, high above would be Vi and the crew. "Oi Vi!" He shouted, only a little louder than usual but not loud enough to attract too much attention. "We're going into the derelict Manor House, seeing if it will be a suitable replacement for the Beacon. I've found a new guy, he's the one who fell from the sky, fallen angel eh? Anyway, Derelict Manor House, remember." He then spun back round to face the boy, after speaking casually to absolutely nothing as if he knew the atmosphere like his best friend. Oddly enough, he was completely confident Vi would have got his messege, and understood where he was going. For a blind guy, he did have a rather good sense of direction. Spike was shook from his thoughts suddenly by his slight swaying, dizzyness still being a side-effect of the bat-boy's blood. He grabbed his head which felt like it was swelling and stood for a moment, trying to still the swaying and blinking against the swelling feeling. "Woah... This is worse than dope." He said matter-of-factly and began to walk down the road which lead to the Manor House. "So, how come you seem to know so much about this side of the world if you lived this weirdo little world in down-under?" Spike said, making conversation as he folded his wings together and out, keeping them from gettin stiff and un-used.

"Well as you may have noticed, I evolve quickly, very quickly, which is part of the reason I'm here, and I guess even though my home is a ruined city, it's still a city at the end of the day, so I've picked up a few things about how to live life." Shouja replied, almost casually, which was out of his personality. "I am, however, very bemused by whatever is making you, well, pissed up. They say don't drink and drive, a generally stupid thing to do, so how does it compare to doing whatever your doing and flying? You move fast, so speaking from experience it's not intelligent to not know where your going at speed. I dont have a problem with walls, I go straight through them, but I have forgotten where I was going at some stage because of a clouded mind, and because of my light-weight, brittle bones the mistake nearly cost me my life, so I hope out of newfound respect that you dont choose to fly where unnessecary."

Spike shook his head, using both of his hands now to squeeze his head between his palms. "I feel like my head is swelling, and my balance is totally off." He said as he swayed to the side, putting his foot in the completely wrong place. He completely wasn't following what the kid was saying. He spoke to fast, words seem to fall out of his mouth instead of him saying them. "Im sorry, what? You speak garble Kid." He stated, leaning against a wall for a few moments while he regained his composure. "I think the movements screwing up my system. I injected some of my...companion's blood, it helps me to heal on most occasions. The sideaffects are strong though, you should have saw me last night." He whistled and then leant his face against the mossy building, his face began to cool as he leant against the wet rough surface. He spread his arms across it, cooling all of his aching muscles and making him feel much more relaxed. "I think some dope might actually help me right now..." He said, feeling tense again as soon as he stood upright again. "you don't by any chance have any do you? I doubt it, but worth a shot." He smiled at himself, then returned to caressing the cool wall.

"Not now I don't but I'm sure if you told me where to find some, it wouldnt take me long at all. If your really that desperate I can rob a dealer or something of the like. If you need water then it a bit more complicated, it's harder to carry and the electrons are more free and harder to phase-out with." Shouja looked hesitantly at Spike hugging his wall, not sure whether to be worried or amused, so settled for both. He shifted his wait from foot to foot impatiently and toyed around with near by objects, which would occasionally fall through his hands, so he would toy with a new one. His eyes were wide, eager to do something to help, not used to just conversation and not really doing anything.

Spike felt overwhelmed by the boy's eagerness to please, it was....empowering. Spike grinned to himself and pondered over the possibilities of having a slave. He then shook himself of his thoughts and tried to stick to his main target. He then realised that the boy was moving non-stop, he was fidgeting like he had live ants under his skin. "What is wrong with you, kid? You're fidgeting like wild fire..." Spike said, his eyes wide with curiousity. He leant off the wall and began to walk unsteadily towards the end of the road again, where the Manor House was. "You talk lots too, you had too many E numbers or something?" Spike questioned eagerly.

"E-Numbers? What the fuck are they?" Shouja replied, "If I don't know what they are i can't eat them right?" His voice seemed less and less energetic towards the end of his sentence as his attention was finally drawn else where. In a life of constant attack and defense he had adapted to sensing close individuals he was always with, and right now he could feel a prescence he knew was impossible, physically and mentally. He could swear he could feel his brother, Surangengati, near him, but as a different being, as though he could feel his brother's nature inside what appeared to be just a normal wall. He looked as though he'd seen a ghost, his usually dark skin going a chalky white and his eyes rapdily changing colour, indicating his variable emotions and panicky mood. As he felt the presence stronger and stronger he was looking around frantically, making a real scene as he was dashing between visibilty and he was slowly descending through the floor a little more each time. Suddenly, he felt a gripping hold on his mind and his brothers soothing tones echoed through his cranium, with words he could not ignore, "Shouja, it's me. Help me and i will help you, help me to end my pain, help me find my true form!" Unable to ignore the plea, Shouja just shut down and fell over in the street, applying all and every defence he could to save himself from the outside, and strived to touch the conciousness in sync with his own, but his efforts were fruitless as the two of them lost connection and he woke up lying in the street, blue-faced and pale, only after what felt like seconds.

Spike saw the boy stop and look about helplessly, like some sort of animal caught in the headlights. "Kid, are you okay?" He asked, reaching out to grab him as the boy swayed and began to fall. Rather annoyingly, the boy fell straight through his arms and onto the ground with a thump. Spike knelt down beside him and the boy twitched slightly, looking like h was posessed or in pain. He put his hand on the boy's forehead, which was cold and wet. The boy was presumably in shock. He looked around for something to help and found nothing of use, there were in a backalley behind a mall after all. When the boy's eyes began to flicker awake, it was a few minutes after he had slipped into his minuture trance. Spike looked at him nervously. He didn't like being in charge when things go wrong, he decided. "You alright?" He asked out of habit. He actually half expected the kid to say No and go back into his trance, but he hoped the boy would be able to explain.

What a stupid question thought Shouja. Waking up to a burly tatooed man was scary but him asking, was he alright, was stupid. Of course I'm not, he wanted to scream, I've just been in a fucking dream state being harassed by my dead brother. But as he spoke, however, it was not the voice of Shouja that came, but a deeper voice, more matured, with each word very selected as though the speaker had comtemplated it and revised it like a speech assessment and was pronounced perfectly. "Shouja, it's me, Suranjungati, your brother. I have an amazing story to tell you," Shouja stammered, clearly in immense pain again, "I should have told you Shouja. I'm a shapeshifter, just as you have your own little power. I've been part of this city for a long time, and can defintely help you and your friend there, just help me". As Shouja stopped speaking he nearly fainted again, but a boy behind him seemed to just appear, in the place a rogue newspaper used to be, and caught him. The boy was exactly the same as Shouja, who was clearly the transformation idea. Suranjungati stood tall as he entered the war. "Hello Spike." he said.

Spike was confused about what was going on, but sensing a new presencethe metal began to seep out of his skin until it eventually covered his entire body, and the metal around his fingers were in long spikes, ready to attack or defend. "Who are you?" Spike said. Once again another stupid question since the man, or rather thing had announced himself to be Suran....something-or-other. He spread his finger out in front of him defensively, a growl in the bottom on his chest. He glanced at Shouja who was now unconcious and in the arms of a suspected enemy.
