ooc: I thought you said he was a teenager? Now you say he is a boy? What is he really an old man in disguise!!!!? LOL! Oh and I got the first post on the new page! NANANANANAAAAAAA! LOL!
bic: Pia blushed as she stared straight into Toby's eyes. It was like looking stroaight into bright light, that shone and shone as brightly as the stars above them, as excitedly as the fireworks, as deeply as the craters on the moon. As he coughed she adjusted herself so she was staring back at the display, hand still in Toby's. OK why can't you bring yourself to take your hand away?! Omg you are such a freak! INNER MONOLOGUE SHUT UP!!! Suddenly she found herself tightening her hand around Toby's. "Oh Toby please no!" Pia begged "Just 10 minutes more here! It's so lovely...you said so yourself! Please stay!" At this point she was pulling at his arm giving him cutest most puppy-dog like face hoping that he would give in. All of a sudden she found herself pulling him towards her as if they were about to kiss. "Please Toby...it's so romantic here..." she said her voice turning husky and seductive, beyond her control. Her heartbeat jumped jubilantly inside her heart and she began and breathing in an irreguler pattern. Pia's pupils turned into dancing flames and her breath a warm breeze. "Stay Toby..." The wind suddenly began to burn against her skin, the moonlight suddenly seemed to be stroking Toby's hair, making it seem all the more softer and feathery, the distance between them growing smaller as she pulled herself so there faces were bearly millimetres away. Pia could feel his breath tingling on her skin, and immediately had the strangest feeling of not ever wanting to set eyes on anything else, ever, ever again.

Toby pulled away, scared of the clash of fireworks, scared of her sultry voice, scared of his beating heart, ultimately...scared of the unknown. He snatched his hand away and stood up in alarm, pulling the coat around his shoulders and moving his wings to be comfortable. "Please" He asked, a pleading look in his eye. "Pia, We should go." He said, turning around he leant against the tree and re-adjusted his shoe. "Come on Bugs." He said, and the bots began to whirr after him, bleeping and complaining. "Yes, Yes. I'm a nincompoop I heard you Twain...Oh Techology Without An Interesting Name. Twain. Get it? No it's not insulting, it's ingenious. Oh Shush Twain." He muttered to the Maintainence bug, the most fluent in English, and also known as Twain.

A sickly feeling rose inside Pia. "I'll join you later." she said simply. tears stung in her eyes as she lay back down. No inner monologue? Ok then. The flames died out of her eyes but her heart still kept an irregular pattern. Moments later she rose to her feet and her hair swept itself out of the bobble and turned in a fierce lashing flames and her skin glowed a devilish red. "How dare he! HOW DARE HE!" she cried "How dare he say NO TO ME!" The air picked up leaves and whirled them around her in a storm of fire. "No one has never turned me down in anything before!" she screeched, her temper soaring through the unknown Universe "No one! Who does he think he is? WHO EXACTLY IS HE TO REJECT ME AND MAKE ME FEEL SO AWFUL!? I will take my revenge! He will suffer the consequences." In a ravishing temper, Pia left the park...
ooc: This may seem a bit dramatic but for Pia's personality it fits. Ooh and danke schon my sweety as wanted something like this to happen to Pia so I could show off her true temper!

Days, or maybe weeks later, (who knows), Phoenix soared through the sky taking in the air. She was wearing her usual run-down school-girl outfit, that at this point she was probably growing out of. She didn't mind because she loved it so much. Her broad wingspan made her look like a small speck when she compared the size. My wings are most likely double my regular height.
Phoenix used her wings a lot. Gliding through the sky was always fun to her, and she liked making her stomach drop. Although, over the past couple of years, her stomach has gotten used to being dropped. Now she just adjusts her speed to make her stomach drop. She twisted in a barrel roll and did a quick back flip before landing on the hill, and retracting her wings. They collapsed into the box. I need to find that Nemesis place somehow! No one ever knows where it is, but they just don't want to say it because they don't want them to have any more recruits, I know it! She was now laying down on the grass, looking up at the cloudy sky and thinking sharply to herself. I'll find it no matter how hard they are hiding, if they even are. Everybody knows that they're out there, so why are some people scared? I don't get them. Introducing a new race is for the better anyways. The world has gone to hell, and it needs a leader or it'll eventually fall apart. That's just how I think.
At this point she wasn't even trying to pay attention to what was going on around her, which was really rare in her case. She usually paid attention to everything.

Irina had gone out for a daytime stroll, which mostly involved listening in on people's conversations to see if they had anything valuable at home. She would then follow them, find out where they kept said valuable things, and steal them. The power to disappear from sight always came in handy on these expeditions, as well as her ability to levitate. Unfortunately Irina's levitating ability was almost drained. She had over-used it during the morning, with all that running around for painkillers and hideouts and whatnot. A good, long meditation session was what she needed, but she doubted that she would get any peace and quiet in the manor at the moment because her team-mates were still exploring the place and she was likely to get interrupted. Grounded for now, Irina was on foot. There were always people hanging about the park this time of day: having lunch, exercising or taking their kids out. Irina looked a little strange amongst these people as she was dressed entirely in black. Her current outfit was designed to make it hard for people to see her, but it only worked in poor light. Under the dazzling sunlight, she just looked like a weirdo. Always alert, she spotted something spiraling out of the sky and glared at it jealously, one hand raised to shade her eyes. Flying people were hardly unusual in Souzetsu, but this particular one was quite different - her wings gleamed, seeming almost metallic. Irina's glare turned to a curious stare as she watched the stranger make a tidy landing and tuck her sizeable wings neatly away. They were indeed made of metal - maybe she was some sort of android. I haven't seen any like her before. I should ask her where she's from. The stranger was now laid out on the grass, relaxing. Irina scuffed her feet as she approached, ensuring that she would be heard. "Hey," she called, trying to get her attention.

Phoenix heard someone approaching, but she brushed it off. She was thinking too much to notice anything. By then it was too late, and there was a voice that came out of nowhere. At the sound of the girl's voice Phoenix jumped and almost let out a scream. Finally realizing that she was acting strangely, she gazed up at a girl dressed in all black. And I thought I was strange. Peculiar for sure. She thought, blinking and trying to remember what the girl had said to her. Oh yeah. "Uhm...Hi there." Phoenix said half-heartedly, unsure of what this girl was up to. She of course being more of a pessimistic person, thought of the worst, and she instantly got tense. Her wings wanted to open and just fly away, just in case, but she forced them down. The girl was blocking the sun from veiw, making her look a little evil even while the weather was warm. Hey maybe I'll get lucky this time.

"Sorry to surprise you," Irina remarked, raising an eyebrow. The stranger looked awfully tense - an understandable reaction, given the way Irina was dressed. "Relax, I'm just curious. I sure it was you I saw flying before - where did you get those wings? And, uh, where did they go?" Small talk wasn't something Irina was good at, so she tended to be quite direct. She was close enough now to notice the box attached to the stranger's back: she was doing her best to avoid staring at it. The was an unnatural look about it, yet it seemed to be attached to the flesh. Stop staring, she reminded herself, looking at the girl's face instead.

Phoenix smiled to the girl, and politely answered her. "Well, I do have wings, and they are right in front of you. Right here." she said opening her wings up a little for a preview. "If I open them all the way, it might get a little crowded." she let out a small giggle, putting on her usual act or cheerfulness. When I get the chance, I'll attack her and then she'll have no choice but to answer my questions about Light's Nemesis! It's a fool proof plan, but maybe I should find out what she can do first. She starred off blackly for a moment, and then snapped back to reality. "Oh, um. I store my wings in this box on my back." she said pointing down with her right thumb to the box behind her. "It's made from my bones actually. It's kind of heavy, but I'm used to it. I have to disguise it as a backpack to make me look a lot less unnatural. Why are you so interested anyway, they aren't that amazing to me. Phoenix noticed that she had an ominous feeling about her. Maybe she did know something about Light's Nemesis. She was always suspicious of people anyways, maybe this could be the one.

Irina grinned back, although she felt a little uneasy on the inside. This girl was pleasant enough, but there was something about her that one wouldn't expect from a stranger - something that seemed almost predatory. Like she was observing and assessing everything Irina did. There was definitely more going on than met the eye. She wanted to know why Irina was so interested. A reasonable question, but Irina wasn't sure how to answer. "It's brave of you to just come down out of the sky like that, what with all these people around. Are you new to Souzetsu or something? Many of the gifted hide away, and for good reason. Maybe you should be more careful?" It was a bit condescending, but Irina's people skills weren't exactly the greatest.

Phoenix let out an almost wicked laugh when she heard what the girl had said. "Well, first of all, I'm not new here. And second of all, I could care less of what people think of me. If I can blend into society, somewhat at least, why would I not? Why would I want to hide? I like flying very much so, and it's not like anyone else around here flys. I've heard of a few people that do, but not many, and not around here. What's your name by the way? I never asked you, you just kind of came up. Scared me too." she said being more sly than even wanting to have a regular conversation.

A broad, knowing grin stretched across Irina's face. The stranger couldn't be involved with the Saviours or with Light's Nemesis, else she wouldn't have claimed that there weren't many flying people around here. Despite her own manner, Irina was getting adept at figuring things out like that - resourceful as always. "Blending into society, aye? You stuck out like a sore thumb to me. It's not what people think about you that matters, it's what they do about you." Her gaze drifted over the girl's shoulder, where a young boy was sitting on a playground swing. He was staring, as children do, but Irina knew it was because he had seen the strange girl fly down from the sky. She wondered briefly where his parents were before speaking again. "My name is Irina," she added, still distracted by the boy. He had stopped staring and was now swinging as high as humanly possible on his swing. It was a typical reaction for a child, but adults weren't always so whimsically-minded.

Phoenix smiled to herself. It looks like she took the bait because of the look on Irina's face. Phoenix was meant to confuse her ideas about her, so that she had no clue at all on her real purpose, and so far it looked like it was working. She meticulously watched her eyes that were looking at something behind her. She turned around for a quick peak, and saw the boy swinging really high. "Well what can they do if they have no wings? Do you have wings? Can you fly?" she asked out of the blue hoping for a good reaction. "Well really I mean your powers. What are they? You've had a glimpse of mine, so how 'bout I get a glimpse of yours?"

"You assume an awful lot, don't you?" Irina remarked, raising an eyebrow. I might be some idiot here to kill - oh never mind, she's just being innocent again I suppose. Still, she couldn't resist taking a snipe. "What are my powers? Shouldn't you be asking, Do I have powers?" She paused to fold her arms, studying the stranger's face with her sharp green eyes. This went on for a few moments before she suddenly relaxed, grinning as though it was all just a joke. "Can I fly? Yes and no. It's not true flight, but I get by," she said, lifting herself a few feet into the air. She quickly set herself back down, as she still wasn't recovered from the morning. There was no need for this girl to know about her other ability yet. "So, I told you my name. What's yours?"
((I'm going away for about two weeks and may not be online, someone needs to take over or poor Alu will be left waiting! Feel free to shove Irina out of the way, she'll just get annoyed and flounce off.))

Yeah, on second thought, because of her powers, I might just leave her alone. But I'm not totally sure yet. Phoenix was thinking off into the distance after realizing what Irina's power was. She seems a little suspicious of me too. Like she doesn't trust me at all, or doesn't think I'm telling the truth. Maybe I'll just make friends with her and get her trust. Then I'll just ask her, but that would be no fun. Phoenix quickly left reality behind yet again, plotting on what to do next. She was so concentrated that she didn't hear Irina's questions. Her face was blank, and to Irina she probably looked like she had a shut down like some robot.
Snapping back to reality like someone who was surprized by something, Phoenix answered. "My name's Phoenix. You can also call me Fox. Whatever suits you.

The wind blew very slightly, just enough to annoy the hell out of Finn as he walked. The constant cold pressure of the wind on his eyes drove him half crazy. He had been wandering about aimlessly for hours, trying in some strange way to find the famed group "Light's Nemesis", aimed on the extermination of all norms. He smiled at the thought. Although he barely had powers, the way he was raised and the way he had been treated was reason enough for him to hate them. All of them. Sighing inwardly, he walked into the park, and noticed a strange girl with a metallic box on her back. Not the very socially initiative one, Finn said nothing and sat down, his fingers massaging his temples, a feeble attempt at relief from the annoyance of searching for something and not finding it.
